Electric clock-The Mechanical clock was practically replaced by the electric clock due to the electric clock being efficient. We have electric clocks all around us such as a computer, phone, watch, gaming consoles, and tablets. Digital clocks are also very common today, digital devices and electronic devices also use high oscillating frequencies such as a sine wave, square wave, or a triangle wave.
Grain Elevator-Before the grain elevator the Erie Canal was finished in 1825 and grain began coming through the canal but there was a problem, the grain took too much time to unload which required more manpower and sometimes it would even take a week. Joseph Dart, born in Connecticut in 1799 Sold furs to Indian travelers and then he moved to the grain trading in Buffalo also partnered with Robert Dunbar and the two built the Grain Elevator.
Stapler-Before staplers they used to use wax, red tape, and sewing. Samuel Slocum, born in Rhode Island 1792 the inventor of the stapler had Learned carpentry then moved to London to make pins probably because England was further ahead in the industrialization at the time. But then Slocum started to have ideas about pins, he moved back to America to manufacture more and then he wondered what’s the best way the ship them? Then he came up with the idea what if he stuck the pins in the paper neatly and then it was made in 1841.
Blueprint-John Herschel, born in 1792 England published work on scientific methodology and also went to work with his father. He also escaped to South Africa to get a better look at the night sky and also published drawings of plant and then in 1842 he invented the blueprint process.
