My favorite plant is the orchid. Orchids are perennials, their blossoms with wilt and fall off after a period of time but them reblossom.

The only orichid that produces edible fruit is the vanilla bean.

Most orchids can be found in tropical forests like in South American and the southern part of Central America. However some species and grow in semi-desert regions, along the seashore, and also in the tundra.
